Honors College Forum is a unique opportunity for John Wesley Scholars to experience a broad range of cultural and intellectual enrichment. Each semester, students can choose from a wide variety of events: they might decide to celebrate Palm Sunday at a Greek Orthodox Church, attend a show at the Indiana Repertory Theatre, listen to a faculty panel discussion on the ethics of genetic research, travel to a conference on the global AIDS crisis, engage in a videoconference dialogue with students in the Palestinian territories, match wits with faculty members in the annual Cranium Challenge, or experience life as a fugitive slave on the Underground Railroad at the Conner Prairie Living History Museum. Considering that the Honors College covers all of the expenses and transportation associated with such events and offers a selection of events that can accommodate the busiest of schedules, it is not surprising that most John Wesley Scholars enroll in Honors College Forum much more than the required four semesters. Check out the current schedule of events, as well as those from previous semesters, below to get a better sense of what Honors College Forum is like.
